MyoAmigo Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

MyoAmigo ("the app", "we", "us") is a workout tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch published by Verbari LLC. This policy explains what data MyoAmigo handles, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be honest and specific: there is no advertising, no tracking, and no selling of your data.

The short version

Data we handle

Account information. If you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with and an optional display name. These identify your account and are required for cross-device sync.

Your training data. When you're signed in, the following sync to our servers so they stay consistent across your devices: strength workouts (exercises, sets, weights, reps, rest times, per-set effort ratings, and, when recorded by your Apple Watch, per-set average and peak heart rate), routines and weekly plans, cardio activities (type, distance, duration, your notes), body metrics you enter, gyms you save (see "Location" below), and your app settings (unit preference, accent color, biological sex used for strength standards).

Location. MyoAmigo uses location only for the optional gym features, and only with your permission:

Apple Health data. With your permission, MyoAmigo reads the following from Apple Health:

MyoAmigo also writes workouts back to Apple Health (watch-tracked sessions record natively, and phone-only strength sessions are written on completion), so they appear in the Fitness app and count toward your Activity rings. In accordance with Apple's requirements, Health data is never used for advertising or marketing and is never shared with third parties or data brokers.

Feedback you send. When you use an in-app or agent feedback feature, the message you write, the category you choose, and an optional contact email you provide are stored with our support records and emailed to MyoAmigo support (support@verbari.com) so we can respond. If you're signed in, the feedback is associated with your account (which includes your account email). Feedback is used only to answer you and improve the product.

Operational and security logs. Our servers keep short-lived operational logs (request metadata, errors, and security events such as authentication failures and rate-limit hits) to keep the Service running and detect abuse. These logs are retained for a period measured in days, then deleted automatically. They are not used for advertising or profiling.

What we do not collect

How your data is stored and secured

If you create an account, your synced data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure in the United States, under our control. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Authentication is handled by an email/password sign-in; your session token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device, and short-lived access tokens expire automatically.

AI and agent access

MyoAmigo's backend includes an authenticated interface (MCP) that lets an AI assistant access your own training data on your behalf (for example, to summarize your progress or draft a routine) when you connect it and ask it to. Connecting an assistant uses an OAuth authorization flow: you sign in and explicitly approve the connection before the assistant gets any access, and every request it makes is authenticated against your account. You can revoke a connection at any time (disconnect it in the assistant, or revoke access / rotate your API key from your MyoAmigo account), after which its credentials stop working. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.

When you use MyoAmigo through an AI assistant, the data those tools return — your workouts, routines, plans, body metrics, and analytics — is transmitted to the AI service you connected (for example OpenAI for ChatGPT, or Anthropic for Claude) so it can show and discuss it with you. That transmission happens only for accounts you have connected, and only when you or your assistant makes a request.

When you connect an external AI assistant or agent, any data MyoAmigo provides to it is then handled by that third-party service under its own terms, and once it leaves our system, we can't control how the agent or its provider uses, stores, or retains it. The standard precautions around using any large-language-model tool apply: only connect assistants you trust, share only what you're comfortable sharing, and review each provider's own privacy terms.

Data retention and your choices

Website waitlist

During pre-launch we ran an email waitlist on this website. If you joined it, we stored the email address you submitted, when you submitted it, and which page you signed up from. Those signups were protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you're human without cookies or tracking; a salted hash of your network address (never the address itself) was kept briefly for rate limiting. Waitlist emails were used only for MyoAmigo launch news (never sold, never shared), and you can ask us to remove yours at any time at the address below.

Not a medical service

MyoAmigo is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and the data it handles (including heart-rate summaries and body metrics) is processed for training insight, not health care. MyoAmigo is not a HIPAA covered entity. See our Terms of Service for the full health disclaimer.

Children

MyoAmigo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
